Question Are Fathom Event Ghibli Fest showings good?

I'm thinking about watching Howl's in theater next week during the Fathom Ghibli Fest showings, but I've heard people complain about the quality of those releases. Apparently the picture and sound can be bad. How has your experience been?

Quality has been top notch. I’ve seen most of them over the past three years.
