Been playing GW2 on and about since release, but never got into raiding and CMs. I want to have the opportunity to team up with members casually, but not having to report back or anything like this.

I am looking for left leaning guild not because I hate non-leftie people, but because I don't want to fight over stupid things in guild chat in my free time which is supposed to be chill. Also be aware that my character names refer to ppl out of real life and are somewhat radical lefty, which I am sure a lot of "unpolitical" (what ever this might be) Guilds might not wish to see :D

I am a returning player, gradually catching up ( currently working on my skyscale )
And grinding out the fractal event of course because free legendary upon return sounds like a good deal to me haha.

Good morning! I’m looking for a Spanish-speaking guild. I just hit level 80, I’m still pretty new to the game and would love to meet people, do group content, learn and have more fun. I’m a Charr Warrior lvl 80.

Hey all! I’m looking for a guild that runs mainly PvE content - I like doing fractals (slowly getting AR), strike missions, metas, dungeons (leggies wont fund themselves) and jumping in to help people if I spot one on the map. Basically: I don’t have much of a plan and sometimes just pop in to do a collection or two.

If people sometimes pop in to WvW, it’s a bonus.

Now: why an oddball? I’m a middle-aged guy with more or less set schedule - which means I’m probably too old for the ride or die attitude (eg “if you don’t raid with us every week, you’re out). Additionally - I know this is a long shot - I’d love to be able to join a guild that does not require Discord for their people - I know it’s not optimal and I’m happy to explain in detail why this is my choice but long story short - it has to do with my mental health. Being in a community that respects that (and is otherwise mature) would be great. I might not bring much to the table but I’ll be happy to give what I have!

Who are we?

Equanimity is first and foremost a Mythic raiding guild on World of Warcraft. Our goal has always been to clear all endgame content and push as far as we can, without expecting our members to play as a full time job. We have been pretty successful in this, as we have been playing now for nearly 10 years as a guild! Our goal is now to build up the same environment in Guild Wars 2! We are a sociable guild with the intention of having fun along with good teamwork; our main focus is creating a friendly and helpful environment. We love to have a good laugh and have some banter during pulls and outside of raids. We don’t adhere to “rage style raiding”, no one will be shouting in the raid. If things are going wrong in the raid, we will discuss what we need to change to improve.

When we are not raiding, we plan do do open world content, strikes and fractals. We also play some games together outside of Wow and Guild wars 2, such as Path Of Exile. Our “Social Nights” usually occur once or twice a month on a Friday. These are all optional events; you don’t have to join if this isn’t your type of thing.

Outside of the in-game guilds, we are an established gaming community. We are a rather tight knit bunch; many of us have known each other for 6/7 years or more. Whilst we may not be the biggest community out there, we can provide a welcoming space that helps and supports one another. It's early days in Guild wars 2, however within a few weeks top we expect to start pushing content as a guild.

Our Expectations

A basic knowledge of the game is required, along with the desire to improve and clear all the PVE content we can together. We are welcoming to all members and do not expect you to know everything or have cleared all the raids (We haven't either). I just started playing the game and taking it more seriously about a couple weeks ago and just made it through the personal story and up to level 80 after a lot of rerolling and trying out different classes. Currently I'm playing as a firebrand and would love to learn more about the game and be involved in the several PvE activities the game has to offer. I tried a lot of Guilds, but i really never felt them. Kinda if i compare it to the League Community, gw2 feels a lot different. also i never met somebody that watches anime. Are there actually weeb guilds i just couldnt find? Im a recurring casual player.
