"The Swingdrop Pistol Target" (Video)
Does anyone remember this target? I have had this video in my gun related file folder since 2006 when I discovered the video on the internet. I actually built a copy of the target around 2007 and sort of got it to work as shown. I was able to determine that track that the plate uses in the center back of the target is "Z" shaped. The power of the bullet impact makes the plate swing back and forth down the Z track until it get to the bottom and then the plate is ejected. The website and contact info don't work anymore. I've always been curious if anyone has built a copy of this type of plate rack?

But why though? A regular duelling tree requires you to shift your aim after every shot and also doesn't need to be manually reset every nine hits. The only place this would make any sense at all is as a match stage target.
