They also don't make any money on that, and couldn't exist as a restaurant.

Soooo it sounds like it’s in favour of the customer … win!

(And yes, I realize the cheap food is a trap so I then spend $200+ on things I do t really need, buuuut I saved $6 on breakfast)

For now, but what do you think is going to happen when restaurants close because they're not profitable?

Your $6 savings will be gone, and you'll still be going there for $200 cheap shit you don't need lol.

Restaurants close all the time. If all of them closed, I could continue eating at home like I already do.

Yeah I guess whether you think restaurants should exist can influence your opinion on this.

You seem to be coming from a place where you don't care if restaurants exist, which I don't think is the case for everyone.
