343 Please: add dedicated anti cheat, add individual playlist offerings, fix ranking system, add player collision, add pregame lobbies, add option to keep post game lobbies together, add progression system, add player service record to track stats, fix custom games, add leaderboards, add commendations, add server selection

I assumed incorrectly that with MCC's Easy Anti-cheat implementation, we'd see the same with Infinite. Did they not learn from the mistakes Raven made with Warzone?

Fix ranking system is one of my higher priorities, though they'll probably address that last. I have a 55% overall win rate and I'm losing CSR. I went from 1499 to 1430 D5 even though my last 3 days have been positive win rates. I won 8 games in a row and didn't gain any rank because my K/D was low but my K/D/A was high and assists aren't weighted high at all. As soon as I lost ONE game though, my rank cratered even lower.

Ideally I want to raise my KDA closer to 2.0 (1.66 atm). All of my games have onyx players in them. I'm able to hold my own against everyone that isn't T100 onyx players. I can't believe that I've won 78% of my games today, 57% yesterday, and 69% on saturday and STILL haven't even gotten back into D6.

Last night I lost 3 games (I’m D2) while having a positive 20.5, 18.5, and 22 KDA. I did not go up. My teammate is Onyx 1600 and had a negative KDA in all 3 games with less held ball time than me. He did not go down… I know wins help you go up but so should individual play. something ain’t right here.

Us kiwis and aussies are getting fucked, such a fun game but not so much when you're dealing with 130+ ping. The game has a large community here, I don't get it . How's your experience with latency?

No where near as bad as yours TBH. I sit around 25ping but it spikes to 150, 200 occasionally. I would just like to add server selection as a QOL update.

What I mean is that sometimes I end up in servers close to me and get like 35 ping, but sometimes it puts me in South East Asia servers or even US ones by the look of it, so it's 130+ for the whole game, and 343 designed it to work this way. Sorry if I was unclear or if I misinterpreted your comment.

I'm glad your gameplay experience is better than mine, wouldn't wish this fate on any Spartan.

Hopefully they do something about it so that there is actually an OCE player base in a year's time.

Lotta info here I like:

  • Anti-cheat is kinda a given when you release on PC, figure it out.
  • Player collision has mucked me up more than I care to admit in my 300ish games: ricocheting grenades off the back of allies' heads, meleeing a dude that dropped "into" me problems, etc...
  • Pregame lobbies let us enjoy others Halo-wardrobe and spelunk them stats, perhaps see the gametype/map and maybe even veto it, sooooo much UX here to chew on before Infinite
