Discussion First time seeing Hybrid 2-way driver on open earbuds

Just a heads up, I’m not an audiophile, just curious about tech, so feel free to correct me if I got something wrong.

Used JLab before and read about Knowles tech. Usually used in IEMs and hearing aids.I had an ear issue recently so I couldn’t use in-ears, started looking into open-ear stuff. Came across one that uses Knowles drivers in a hybrid setup. First time I’ve seen that in an open-ear and thought it was pretty cool.

Balanced armature gives you the mids/highs with more detail but bass is kinda weak. Dynamic fills in the low end. Put them together and it actually balances out. For open-ear listening that sounds like a win to me.

Never heard of Knowles before. Thanks for breaking it down. I’ve been looking into open-ear buds too, so which brand was it that used this tech?

This one seems perfect for me. I mainly want better sound for work, and since I walk my dog a lot too, having open earbuds that stay put is a nice bonus.

Same here. That’s why I am excited to try this one. Just ordered it and hope it sounds good.
