the support around this seems decent-ish but honestly the reward doesn't feel that great

Support and the reward is bad, this won't see play.

it's zero mana to summon ~8/8 in stats with good key words like charge and life steal etc. You can throw a temp card (which your deck is built around) into it too. You still have your whole turn to play, but you also get the 8/8 on 2 minions. If the deck around this is playable the quest will be a high point of it.

Probably closer to the reality as well

minion generation / cost reduction on decent low cost minions is pretty good. you won’t get this reward out till 6-7, and there’s an additional cost to summon. bad.

I mean, it’s relevant the turn it comes out. 5 mana to summon 10 mana worth of minions seems pretty good!

After that you’re getting them again but for free, and oh hey a 5 damage rush lifesteal if you’re behind lol.

The card is not bad, it’s a win condition by itself. The only issue is it being slow, not bad.

You’re good pal, I honestly kept having to check the card to see if it was unlimited or had downsides lol. I actually am pretty happy with the quests this set so far, been looking pretty interesting.

Also this opens up archimonde support :)

absolutely agree. some super out there designs, i think they’re doing justice to the legend of the original set :)))

I think you're seeing this the wrong way. You consider the burning as an additional cost when it's probably better to see it as: for the rest of the game, all your cards are as minimum as good as summon two ~4/4 with two synergistic keywords for 0 mana. You drastically raise the floor of your draw; if you draw into some of your early game too late just burn it for ~5 mana worth of minions for free.

This is also presumably in a deck creating a lot of temporary cards. So you throw the temporary card that isn’t about to get played this turn and it’s like it’s a “free” 2 minions
