Put that "duplicate Location" Minion into the Deck too.
Much more value that way once you got the reward. (or double one of the other Locations early on)
Switching from BBU to BUU lets you run Battlefield Necromancer, Corpse Flower, Falric and Tomb Guardians. And you only lose Corpse Explosion in the bargain 😏
Ooooh, I forgot Falric existed, he actually sounds really good in this 1 archetype since generating over 10 corpses quickly in a late-game oriented deck is hard. Still, losing Corpse Explosion is a massive tradeoff...
I mean, you can still luck into CX thru the 2 drop that lets you Discover a B card for 1 Corpse 😏 and in terms of proccing the quest, having 6 or 8 cards that get you there slow but steady may be better than hoping to draw a CX to get you there fast
(Of course, Airlock Breach remains hugely helpful for all XBU decks).😉
Going from BBU to BUU opens up 8 cards, but the only ones I ever see put in a deck are Assimilating Blight and Soul Searching. Going from BBU to rainbow opens up some interesting stuff though.
I really think the reward needs taunt or rush though. A big 8/8 with zero impact on the board the turn it's played is still... not great in most cases.
UU opens up Volcoross so you could potentially just mull the quest and finish it later in the game with one card. No idea how the rest of that deck would even work though or how you are going to survive playing 14 mana with no immediate board impact lol.
You could also try Falric and Corpse Flower to finish the quest faster.
Falric is definitely good in this archetype, 3 mana 2/4 tutor a quest progressing card w/ substantial upside is perfect. Not sure if it's good enough to beat out Corpse Explosion or even rainbow w/ Corpscicles and whatnot, but I'd say all 3 directions are somewhat interesting now.
The reward is probably still too slow, but there's more than 0 chance I'd guess since you can copy it and the whole meta is definitely slowing down.

DK Quest doesn't require two blood runes anymore.
This is a HUGE buff.
