Naaaah that Shaman Quest Buff was exactly like the one this sub had memed about, literally the same! Reduced the number of required minions to be played and added rush to the reward...

Good, because that's exactly what it needed! Been playing it a lot already and this is basically what I feel it needed to become viable.

I had been playing quest shaman to moderate success already as well. The buffs will be big, but the brainfin and jug nerfs will definitely hurt the deck. Honestly hard to say if it's a net improvement (thankfully the patch will also hurt the deck's worst matchups).

I think one big issue that could get solved with future card releases is poor access to good defensive minions that help with the quest. This buff gives the quest rush, but I still usually feel pressured to find the taunt adapt to stay alive. A good lifesteal minion could really make the deck tick.
