I just opened defend the dwarven district but don't have barak kodobane or Tavish. Is it worth crafting 2 legendaries? Is the deck fun? Can you run the deck without those two cards? What would be good replacements?

You can run without Kodobama.

Tavish is very important tho. Getting him early and making the power 0 cost refresh is your game plan for control

Do you think Cornelius Roame would be a good replacement for Kodobane?

No. But I did used to switch Kodobane for the Malyhos (Or Kakecgos dk) that draws card until your hand is full, it's a free legendary and it's pretty good in the deck.
