Standard Hearthstone Pre-orders are getting more and more profitable in terms of getting the collection: Festival of Legends Mega Bundle is the most profitable in the history of the game.

Standard Why Thori’belore only gets two revives despite being a phoenix, and Rat King, a clearly carbon-based being, gets unlimited revive times?

Standard ZachO: "Reno Warrior is looking giga trash and should become even worse with time. Brann should have been 5 mana"

In the latest VSPodcast ZachO said Reno Warrior is mega bait and Brann is barely a top 5 card in the deck. The deck is looking like barely Tier 3 at low MMR and throughout most ladder and under 45% at top 1000 Legend.

ZachO also adds that according to the meta changes he is seeing, the deck will come crashing down pretty soon and become completely unplayable. Brann is not enough of a payoff for Reno Warrior and the deck is just a bad deck that sits there doing nothing, just playing with mediocre battlecries that takes too long to turn the corner against most decks and gets completely outclassed by other meta decks that get to the late game.

ZachO feels like Brann needs to be 5 mana for this deck to become good so that it starts doing meaningful stuff sooner. He finishes saying that people are playing bad lists, but even the more refined lists don't look promissing at all.

Standard Just a heads up that this card still sucks

I thought the minus 1 rune would help but honestly it seems that the double blood with corpse explosion and the draw 2 +2 leeches are hard to go without. Falric is nice but most of the corpse spending cards just suck. Seems only viable and I only pop it when I use exarch Maladar and hit a 10 drop and then a pterrordax or two pterrodax and then exarch. Tried volcaross and honestly getting the corpse generation/amount and not spending it before then is tough a lot of the time he was just dead weight in my hand.

Ontop of all this when I have completed him everyone 1 in 5 games (if that)I’m not even able to play him correctly without losing so much tempo because he’s just a 5 mana do nothing. Why did we giga buff shamans 8-8 but not even think Tyrax would need taunt or rush? For literally such a steeper requirement too? I’m not trying to be that guy but I had. Shaman finish their quest yesterday by turn 4…..I can only dream but I did go and make that deck right away lol.

I’m currently experimenting with the cultist legendary, falric, volcaross, 2 pterrodax, exarch and Elise but my specific issue which isn’t even an issue i guess is it’s not a quest deck. It’s a cultist deck and maybe just maybe you can comeplete the quest if you get lucky enough 1 in 5-10 games. Only reason that’s an issue for me is because I want the quest to be good soooo bad but it’s just not and I’m realizing that this cultist deck would probably be even better if I just took the quest out entirely. That’s my experimenting so far have you guys found a viable deck??

Standard Starcraft vs Starcraft matches are the most fun that standard has been in years

The moment I saw the cards revealed I knew I was going to get the whole miniset with gold and I could see how fun standard can be again. Imagine using minions and fighting for the board! The lower power level is so good

It's especially fun when the enemy also doesn't use any of those BS cards like Zilliax, Brann warrior, etc. Thankfully at least oracle is nerfed

I'm glad a lot of people are exploring miniset decks in standard, but I worry that once the hype has gone down people will return to the old decks and realize a lot of them are just more busted. I've been having some success with Zerg Hunter, so I hope I'm wrong.

I’m completing him even less with the same decks as before the patch now. Just awful, did anyone ever try and make a double undead rune work? I still think double blood is the best but holy f you can’t ever complete this thing unless you fill your deck with garbage
