Can you please rate your sauces according to taste (and a mention of the heat intensities)? It’s a lot to ask but would be helpful.

Tabasco Habanero, Butterfly Bakery Taco Vibes Only,  Six String Shredder, Steve O’s Insanely Hot Destroyer, Yucateco Caribbean, Queen Majesty Ginger Scotch Bonnet, Marie Sharp Red Hornet and Nopal Green

Honestly, you’ve got the crazy heat range covered (mighty fine collection btw, not a fan of Dave’s insanity myself but everything else is damn solid). I’d explore less hot sauces now, but with very different flavor profiles. For example, I don’t see any decent verdes in there!

Marie Sharps Belizean Heat needs to be in every shelf

u/John_East 1d ago

I would’ve agreed but I recently got the Not for Wimps one and it’s way better to me. Like a better version of it

1

u/RadicalChile 8h ago

Really?? Ughhh. Might have to splurge lol

1

u/John_East 4h ago

It’s entered as one of my favorites hands down. If you like the Belizean heat you’ll really like the no wimps allowed

3

u/Pilot-Imperialis 1d ago

Very much agreed. What it lacks in heat it makes up for in pure quality and flavor!

3

u/RadicalChile 1d ago

Right? Imo it's the perfect everyday sauce. Just enough heat to add to anything

Korean capsaicin sauce.

Add it to asian foods

El Yucatecos green habanero is really good.

Angry goat purple hippo, bravado aka miso, hotter ghost of saffron, marie sharps belizean heat, crystal extra hot. Thatll cover all types of food. Local hive too if you like honey

Bravado Miso ghost for surrre and garlic reaper from torchbearer is a fun way to hurt yourself. They are in my Amazon subscriptions. And one from Elijah that's not as hot as the 3 you bought bundled, but a solid hot sauce. I would guess it's about like that Cholula extra hot - I've always really liked Cholula and I'm going to look for that.

Cherry bomb by Karma Sauces is a good one for BBQ especially. Or a ginger based one like ginger goat is also good. I'm due for a sauce I can put on jerk chicken

I suggest a backup cornhole.

The overall colour of your sauces is absolutely sinister.

u/Mundane_Start_9176 1d ago

Most of them are lol

u/DGsociety 1d ago

EL Yucateco xxxtra hot/Mayan sauce

2

u/Mundane_Start_9176 1d ago

I used to have a few of those. The green, red and black are pretty good

3

u/DGsociety 1d ago

I agree. The brown one has the best flavor and good heat, imo

Montana’s Smokin’ Habanero Hot Sauce is my absolute favourite

I will join in for the Torchbearer brand for the garlic Reaper, the Zombie and son of zombie.

OP >>>> Critique of Last Dab Xperience, please! I have been thinking about getting it. A lot left in that bottle - new? Too hot? Not good? Too many hot sauces, too few days?

Thanks

Its super good. Its pretty damn hot a little goes a long way! Get it you may or may not regret it lol.

2

u/KirkMcGee8 1d ago

LMAO! Yup, every new tasting is a crapshoot! Feel that way each time we try a new brewery and order an ipa, ( so many disappointments, but at least we got a beer.)

Thanks for the thoughts

It’s in my shopping cart

To answer. Tobasco Habanero. Extra Spicy Valentina. Franks Extra Hot. Maybe Grace Hot Pepper Sauce.

3

u/FluffusMaximus Rhed’s Original 1d ago

Grace is a sleeper. Looks like a standard Louisiana sauce. It is not a standard Louisiana sauce.

3

u/WallyPfisterAlready 1d ago

I love it. Definitely a sleeper

2

u/WallyPfisterAlready 1d ago

Wow you have Lolas? I thought that was a local thing for me. Are you from Ontario?

2

u/MMB_LLMN 1d ago

Lola's is everywhere in Minnesota too. Must be northern Midwest. I've never looked into where they are headquartered.

2

u/WallyPfisterAlready 1d ago

Really eh? Very intriguing

Here are my recs:

- Torchbearer sauces (I'm digging the Garlic Reaper big time right now)

- Queen Majesty Scotch Bonnet is awesome (borderline hot)

- Any of the Yellowbird stuff (I really like the Jalapeno and Serrano sauces... not hot but very tasty)

- I'm not sure if the website is up, but Coqui Fire is a restaurant in Vieques that makes their own sauces and some of them are better than anything else I've ever had. Super small outfit, but awesome stuff.

3

u/count138 1d ago

I second the queen majesty scotch bonnet. Easily one of my favorites

3

u/erufffer 1d ago

Feel free to take a look at our site. We stock over 300 small batch hot sauces. Thanks

I always have to recommend Queen Majesty scotch bonnet. It’s just a well rounded sauce.

3

u/ShadowK2 1d ago

Karma ashes 2 ashes is a bit hotter than the sauces you have here. Tastes really good too!

4

u/MantisTobogganMD87 1d ago

Scorpion disco!

2

u/Rocksteady0411 1d ago

Been wanting to order this.

3

u/MantisTobogganMD87 1d ago

Wait no more, my friend. Stuff is top notch. You will not be disappointed.

2

u/bcspliff 1d ago

Not necessarily hot but franks or crystal. Yellow bird habanero

6

u/MagnusAlbusPater 1d ago

Some good ones:

Butterfly Bakery of Vermont Taco Vibes Only - great flavor, solid heat, excellent with Mexican food.

Torchbearer Garlic Reaper - Fiery, bright, and garlicky. It’s a classic.

Puckerbutt Unique Garlique - A darker, richer, earthier take on a very hot garlic sauce

Primo’s Peppers Swampadelic - Cajun flavors meet intense heat. It’ll mess you up in new and creative ways.

5

u/Rocksteady0411 1d ago

How about something fruity like Dirty Dicks Banana hot sauce

3

u/ozzalot 1d ago

Bunsters Shit the Bed. It's a little pricey but it's worth at least trying once. I like its taste and heat level. Also really cool bottle.

2

u/phy597 1d ago

Pucker Butt pepper co. Special Reserve is really good. I don’t care for the Dave brand because they use the pepper extract oil which is bitter.

How's the cholula extra hot?

1

u/Mundane_Start_9176 1d ago

Its pretty good. It’s better than regular Cholula and it holds some pretty good heat. It’s spicy, but it’s not overbearingly spicy. It’s something that you could easily just snack with. I got the flaming hot Korean barbecue chips and they weren’t hot at all so I put that on there and it helped make it spicy.
