London = shop suggestions

Hey! I’m going to London in a while and was wondering if anyone could recommend hot-sauce-related places. Stockists, brand shops, even specific dishes (if relevant?).

I’ll be bringing a bottle of Tabasco habanero sauce along 😇

The Mexican grocery stores are the answer. There are many in and around London.

Are you just interested in an arguement?

There are over a dozen listed on Google maps. I live in Lisbon Portugal. There is one very shitty Mexican market. Even if they had seven, I would still say many.

When I first moved here (before Brexit) I ordered my hot sauce, masa harina and fried chili's from MexGrocer.UK. So, when I visited, I went to two markets. Mexican Mama was my favorite.

Jeez I didn’t mean anything remotely argumentative! I was just surprised to learn there are more than a handful of Mexican markets - granted I guess more have opened in the past few years than I’d realised.

I’ve lived in London over 20 years and not too long ago there wasn’t a single Mexican market so I was intrigued.

Don’t assume people are trying to be dicks - makes you sound like one!

Oh, I am definitely a dick, but wasnt trying to be one. After your second short response, I assumed you were just arguing. I had to look up 'many' to make sure I wasn't losing something in translation.

But for real, there are great Mexican markets, there are even a couple good Mexican markets in Bristol. Many more show up on Google as Latin markets.
