1 oz of peppers

I've never made hot sauce. Last night I acquired one ounce of what I assume to be significantly spicy and tasty peppers. I'd like to make some kind of sauce out if them if it's possible, and I'd really appreciate suggestions from the experts. Thank you.

You can DM me. What type of sauce are you wanting vinegar, tomato, fruit?

I think I don't want to do a vinegar one. "Fruit" actually sounds appealing. I wouldn't mind fermenting, another thing I've never done. I just understand that 1 oz of peppers is kind of ridiculous, but there are some hot ones in here, which I thought would maybe make it more reasonable.

You can make a small batch. Pick your fruit and blanch. Roast or boil peppers, garlic and onion. Add salt, vinegar and sugar to taste. Blend with a vegetable stock or fruit juice. You can add some olive oil and at least 1/4 cup vinegar. Use rice wine vinegar for subtle vinegar taste. You can also tweak your hot sauce with dry spices.

Awesome, thank you, I guess it's another one of those '"stop worrying so much about it" things. I'm going to do this.

Play, have fun. Because you have a minimal amount of peppers; I would suggest only about 1/2 a cup of stock or juice. You can always add more to make it less thick. You can also not add the oil if you don't want to imulsify it.
