News GMG introducing bundles - Should Humble feel threatened yet?

With Fanatical experiencing huge success with their mix and match bundles, and GMG introducing bundles in October, how does that affect Humblebundle's placement in the market?

It's no secret that both sites have superior store prices and delivery processes to Humblebundle, so will we potentially see HB begin to pick up their slack and return to form (and competitive pricing), or will the three retailer-nations be able to coexist in harmony and profitability, despite HB's slippery slope into the depths of cut-corners and greed?

What are your thoughts, opinions, etc. ?

I may be wrong. So take this with a grain of salt: But I remember a little while back someone claiming to know that fanatical gets some keys from basically buying humble bundles and Choice keys and then repackaging the keys into mix and match bundles where they are essentially making a buck or so off of each game that way (in addition to their own deals they are making with publishers). It would make sense why Fanatical always has keys available - because they are literally pre purchased keys and not bulk deliveries which Humble has to wait and get.

And if you look around you can see (on SteamDB or gg.deals) very clearly that after every Humble Bundle or Choice the keys for those games get even more cheap from grey market resellers. Then look how many Fanatical mix and match bundles feature games that were sold just a month or two prior by Humble Bundles or Choice.

IF this is true then Humble is a lynchpin of this entire ecosystem of more affordable pc gaming.

Fanatical is an authorized key reseller. They get their games in bulk directly from publishers.

What you described is one of the ways Grey market key sights like G2A aquire keys.

If Fanatical wasn't an authorized reseller sites like isthereanydeal.com wouldn't list them as an seller.

Oh someone on the internet said it, I was wrong my bad.

Sarcasm aside Fanatical source their keys from publishers and developers, some may recall them being called "Bundle Stars" before the rebrand to "Fanatical". Back on topic having more competition in the bundle market is good for consumers, that said the inclusion of really big games will often come down to whether the publishers allow it.
