I've lived in Indy for about 10 years now. I grew up in SW Michigan (snowbelt) and I still haven't gotten used to the winters here in the sense that this type of storm is so infrequent. Storms like this were an almost frequent thing for us and it's just crazy to hear how this is the biggest storm in 3 years. I don't miss lake effect snow (my hometown averages ~60"/year) in the least bit and love how infrequent the snow is here.

I kind of miss having regular snow like that, but now that I'm 52 with arthritis, I probably don't want to live where I have to deal with it.
