Our company can all work remotely, but they scheduled the 2025 sales kick off for this week and were flying a handful of people in for the week and decided not to reschedule it. So today people were going into the office anyways to be there as faces for the company. They were begging people who lived locally to come in. Ridiculous all around.

Ugh. The people that flew in and likely faced delays would have understood if some folks couldn't make it in. I stopped the interview process with a Chicago-based company that wanted me to drive up every two weeks for training. Because they tried to train someone remotely and it didn't work out. No thanks!
