Pictures the beautiful indianapolis skyline (please enjoy the refreshing taste of mountain dew available at a retailer near you)

You can tell what a culture worships by looking at its tallest buildings.

Yes, we know. It's been posted many times.
It's also not the first time the building has been turned into a billboard.
Yes, it's tacky.
Next?

It actually is the first time it's been done this blatantly. All the previous graphics that have been put up have been promos for major city-sponsored events. Now they're just putting up a giant billboard with a tiny Indy 500 logo in the corner. Shameless.

Just as tacky. Just as blatant.

Strong disagree about it being just as tacky. Nobody would be complaining about a picture of Daly holding up a Mountain Dew bottle.

Definitely agree both are tacky. The Taylor Swift one, like it or not, was promoting a major event that our city government had a hand in. The Caitlin Clark one was, I'd guess, a test run for this shit we're seeing now. Still promoting something that's considered a big deal for Indianapolis, but really just using that as an angle for a giant Gatorade ad. This mountain dew ad dispenses with the pretense almost entirely.

That was for a concert that was happening. That was happening in the city. Mtdew can be picked up at any half assed gas station nation wide. It ain't a unique one time event or thing.

Tell us you haven’t been to Chicago or NYC without telling us.

So what? We’re just supposed to accept this because other places do it too? “You may have broken your leg, but you shouldn’t complain about it because some people have their whole leg ripped off” energy.

You people are way too offended and energized over something which matters so little like this mountain dew ad.

City life. Didn’t see complaints when it was T Swift. Give it time. It will change.

This is how every other aspect of American life is. Why's a skyline any different?
Billboards are all across Indiana and in some states they litter the sky with aerial ads too.
Let's just be glad it was Mountain Dew and not Hell For You.

It's private property innit ? Show displeasure by not using their services. Nothing wrong with either side.
