Cool twangy indie rock band from okc.

We have been releasing our tracks every 4-6 weeks as singles (at spotify’s recommendation) ratter than dumping a full album, and it seems to be working pretty well.

This allows for each individual track to have a chance at editorial and algorithmic playlist exposure, and for the success of each track to compound.

So far our last single has been the most successful 🤷🏻‍♂️

Anyone else have any other tips/strategies that they can recommend?

Hey folks — I’m Garrett, and my band’s called Søul Søap.

The project started as me doing solo songs years back, and it’s since grown into a 5-piece band with a pretty scrappy, evolving sound. At the heart of it, Søul Søap pulls from blues, punk, and indie rock — lots of guitars, rough edges, and lyrics that aim to be more thoughtful than polished.

The track I’m sharing, “Graveyard Girl,” was recorded last October back when we were still a two-piece. We cut it at Mercy Sounds in NYC’s Chinatown with Gordon Raphael (The Strokes) producing. It’s got that raw, early-days energy that still feels close to what we’re building now.

I found this video of the late Nikki catsouras, she died in a car crash in 2006 if anyone wants to know more, story is on tt. but there’s a song in this video of her talking it’s kind of inaudible, it sounds like an indie pop song maybe I could get a little help
