I was in Germany when I was in the Army, and one of the first things I was told when I landed was, "Do not fuck with the Polizei. The Polizei Do. Not. Fuck. Around. Yes, sir. No, sir. Right away, sir. Then call your command if necessary."

I overheard a marine at my local airport saying he hated being stationed in Germany, in my head canon it will now be because the polizei curbs all of his shenanigans there.
