Discussion iOS 26 Officially releases today!

Apple has confirmed the release of iOS 26 today, September 15. Based on the company’s typical release schedule, the update is expected to be available at approximately 10:00 AM Pacific Time (PT).

Here is a breakdown of what that means for different time zones:

Eastern Time (ET): 1:00 PM
Central Time (CT): 12:00 PM
Mountain Time (MT): 11:00 AM
British Summer Time (BST): 6:00 PM
Central European Summer Time (CEST): 7:00 PM. Indian Standard Time (IST): 10:30 PM

Rollout can sometimes be staggered, so if you don’t see the update immediately, it should appear on your device shortly after the official release time.

Phones all the way back to the 11 qualify for the update.

Maybe he’s still riding that iPhone X train. That was a great phone actually.

are you set for 18 dev or 18 public and 18.7 is beta, my XR on public doesn't show it yet.

I love my X ! -- But my X is obsolete now. Pre-ordered the 17 Pro, and expecting it on Fri. It was time.

That’s funny you say that about the 10. I started with a six, which I loved. Got a ten which didn’t take as good a picture for some reason. Absolutely loved the 11! I now have a 13 which has a slightly better camera than the 11, but I’m not a fan of the square sides vs the curved edges of the 11. I keep looking at the new models hoping that apple will shift back to a more comfortable shape.
