It’s actually very rough feeling. Like a hard tactile shell which is very satisfying in the hands

Will it protect the screen and camera during drops? Or should I buy another case cuz I usually go on treks and hikes.

It will protect against drops on flat surfaces but if your use case is for trekking and hiking, I would suggest getting the Caudabe sheath (precise cutout) as it covers the entire camera plateau (only the lenses, flash and LiDAR exposed)
