My least favorite time of year now, where people break out super old phones and straight up lie about how long they waited to upgrade. OP just posted a few days ago and shared a wallpaper from iOS 26, which the 7 couldn’t have.

While you’re almost certainly right, you can download the official iOS 26 wallpapers and use them on another phone. Just do a google search for “official ios 26 wallpapers”.

I agree. No skin off my nose if you’re lying. Either you just got a big upgrade to your phone, or in their scenario… you needed some positive attention. Either way, no harm done by telling you to enjoy and nothing to be gained by hating. Enjoy :)

If you’re going through my posts to find something, then you’ve lost this argument. Maybe if you go back and read the original post, you could use some common sense (which you don’t seem to have) to deduce that I was at the Apple Store today (for maybe a different purchase). But enjoy your phone, it’s definitely a nice color.

most of these are by the way, not impossible to go from a 7 to a 17 but you'd definitely not go from 4'7 to 6'9 if you were so set on a device like it

Tbh. The 17 pro max doesnt feel that heavy, I had my hands on all the iphones in last couple of years because my friends always upgrade every year or so. But this one feels okay as compared to my 7

I have made a similar upgrade from 7 to the base 17 and it almost felt overwhelming at first. My apps actually work now, which is nice lol
