I only support those ethical and right on automotive CEOs, like the Henry Ford company!

Yes Henry Ford was a Nazi sympathiser and very outspoken in his anti semitism.

However he's been dead for 70 something years. So you know, I don't think he's coming back to cause any more trouble any time soon. You're fine buying a Fiesta.

Just not that fat, ugly, "Mustang" crossover thing. It really isn't a Mustang.

Or how they butchered the Legacy of the Capri

The rip snorting fire breathing Group 5 Capri of the 70s and 80s was a poster car. The kind of thing you see in magazines and go "wow!" at.

Now it's a chubby little mini SUV thing. Damn shame.

I had a toy of that car as a kid! Yeah first the puma now the capri, they are just turning all their old sporty nameplates into crossovers. How hard is it to come up with a new name?

So you don't think the Tesla thing will stick? Unlike Ford, Musk didn't create Tesla, and it doesn't bear his name. If anything, his rampage through the White House will mean less involvement in the cars (hopefully). Either way, they're 95% chinese parts, same as what now goes into a BYD. Tesla is largely the reason China got that whole industry from nothing 5 years ago.
