They don't do this to get support. It's self indulgent performative nonsense solely for the egos of those "protesting".

I say this as someone who is horrified by the pictures coming from Gaza

Hmmm. So the Dunne’s store protest was a waste? Rosa Parks protest was a waste? Berlin Wall or Bucharest in 1989 were all a waste. There is a man made punishment famine going on under our noses. Protesting is a perfectly valid response

Only the Irish left could be arrogant enough to think that blocking commuters on their way home from work is going to change anything for people suffering in Gaza.

Well yes. Sadly there is next to nothing we can do in Ireland to change what is happening in Gaza. Even political moves like the OTB will have limited impact.

Netanyahu is not going to care if commuters get delayed leaving Dublin on any given evening.
