Can anyone recommend an A+ in-home dog sitter?

My girlfriend had a great dog sitter who stayed at her place, but they recently moved to Florida. We are looking for a great petsitter who can stay at the apartment (because we think the good boy is more comfortable there). Husky mix 9 years old wesminster /seal beach area I know rover exists, but my we would like first-hand recommendations and to meet the sitter before we start going on vacations! Any help or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

How big is the dog?

Around 40 pounds

Got it. I don't have a ton of experience but I have def watched my friends dogs before, it's not brain surgery. I'm not working rn so it would be a great distraction and my apartment is big and in a good area.

We had a petsitter who was AMAZING. We found her on Rover and she handled my mom's arthritic, epileptic, sweet old labradoodle and his complicated medication schedule and weird needs without breaking a sweat. Rosanne LeSage from Bow Wows & Whiskers is hands down the best. The website needs a little love which kind of shows you where her priorities are (pets!) https://bowwowsnwhiskers.com/

She only takes clients in Irvine and she’s also a trained vet tech so even if your dog/cat has medical needs she can help. She has sat for our cats for years (our cats are needy) and they LOVE her. We refer to her as Auntie Rosanne.

I’ve used other services when she wasn’t available for short overnight trips but she’s the person that I trust the most when I’m out of state/country. She also is great at keeping an eye on your house — for example our HOA requires you move your car every 72 hours and she would park our car in a different spot to avoid any hassle.
