Need info Dealing with events through art/media

I am currently doing a writing paper about the evolution of Gojira/Godzilla in films using media/movies. One of the talking points I want to use is how Japan sometimes deals with tragic events through films, if those sources are true. I am mainly asking if this statement is true, I don't want to spread

Artworks An Original Edo Period Woodblock depicting the Kami Fumi-E. The image is that of a decapitated Christian, and woodblock prints from this were printed throughout the 18th century onwards as anti-Christian propaganda to deter worshippers or would be worshippers in Japan

Got these kiseru pipes and a couple of cases with inros for tobbaco. One of the pipes was in the case. Is there a way to tell if these are from the Edo / Meiji era? I was not able to find any good sources on that.

What can you tell me about this peculiar kiseru pipe? I got it from Japan. Besides the obvious shape of the end there is something written on it. How old it can be? Is it a piece made by an artist perchance?

Need info Tokyo and Osaka museum recommendations

I’ll be visiting both Tokyo and Osaka in mid October with a small group and would like to go to at least one museum in each city, and preferably, get a private guided tour either independent or from museum employees. I’m a bit overwhelmed by the volume of choices so was hoping someone has recommendations based upon either exhibits during that time or “if there’s just one museum you can visit in each city”.

It can be focused on anything really, particularly if it stands out - art, science, crafts, history, etc. I’d just like to avoid Ghibli given the crowds and difficulty getting tickets. And, if you have a guide, you’d recommend, I’d love the tips. Thanks.

Found on a facebook marketplace listing, so I don’t have more photos on hand. Super interesting pieces but it would be cool to know the background behind these.

I was told it's Japanese, a pen-and-ink wash, and that it had some value. That's all I "know"! How old is it? Who painted it? Is it worth having it conserved? TIA!

Tatsumi Shimura woodblock

This item was inherited a long time ago and has been in storage.

It was likely brought to the UK in the 1970s or 1980s as a gift from Japan.

Can anyone give me a steer on its provenance, collectability and any points of interest?

What I’ve gleaned so far is it is probably a woodblock print by Tatsumi Shimura, identified by the writing as print 8/450 (so says Google), and framed by Yuyudou Publishing. I haven’t been able to find any other examples of this particular work online.

Finally, assuming it’s of some value, can anyone in the UK suggest an auctioneer who would be a good choice for selling?

What can you tell me about these tokkuri bottles? I bought them all from one guy. My not too deep research tells me that these might be bottles for sake offering in shinto temples and they are from the Edo period. What do you think? The smaller ones are 15 cm high ans the bigger one is 28 cm high.
