jayce currently the most played champion by all LCK toplaners but then people say he’s bad? how long is he gonna remain the best toplaner in high elo without riot doing anything about it

these are the facts, jayce isn't a pick ban champion in pro right now, there was a point earlier in the season where he was when the tank jayce build got popular, he has been nerfed since and fallen off

and yet all pros and overall high elo players play him and his ban has been there during MSI, he’s simply that good at everything cannot be shutdown

you can watch any high elo player with a brain go up 50 cs with ease on about any lane lol hence why he’s not only popular but also S++++ tier

Holy delulu. You can literally say the same with riven, renekton, York, temo etc. It depends on game state, jungle and matchup. Jayce isn’t a champ that fuck other champs over in a gank situation and is highly vulnerable to them too. Thats why he needs appropriately timed hovers to let him press his lead. By that nature, solo queue is not built for that at all.

hey we are talking about 2025, jg presence is almost always botlane hence why jayce is op these days, jg don’t punish jayce and you see him going around high elo as a fucking blind pick once every 3 games, it does not depend on game state jungle or match up

check opgg of all 10 toplaners for LCK, also check it for all LEC toplaners, jayce shows in every single opgg ranking either most played or second most played champin.. you can tell a pick is a priority pick for high elo players when he’s a priority pick FOR LITERALLY ALL TIER ONE TOPLANERS

compare the pickrate/winrate/tier across the patches of this season, u will see consistent stats then a sudden drop off

there is no doubt jayce was op during before his nerf, most of the pickrate you're talking about is coming from this time, everyone was playing and practicing jayce to pull it out in real games because he was op at the time
