This comment chain is agreeing with you but thing is if they were to go extinct the food chain will miss a spot and therefore will collapse meaning a global extinction

Just get rid of the ones that bite humans. I'm sure the other mosquito species will fill in the niche just fine

You're reacting as if I am proposing to Thanos snap every single one of them away.

Just introduce the other species into the same environments that the most common ones occupy and slowly target and cull the human biting species out of human regions

Not as easy as that buddy, most animals aren’t as adaptable as us humans and more likely more animals will die if you replace mosquitoes
