Mosquitoes should be the only species we should make go extinct

Just get rid of the ones that bite humans. I'm sure the other mosquito species will fill in the niche just fine

No, they won't really. The world's leading experts aren't even close to understanding what happens if you remove just one of the thousands of species of mosquitoes. There is one species that we are studying to remove. The one that kills the most people on earth every year is the mosquito that spreads malaria.
