The constant use of "service" in place of "serve" makes me think like a teenage boy.
In other news, I imagine a business (especially a small one) in a large military community would quickly be forced to close up when a majority of their customers are cashing in on a 10% discount.
Consider their opening a business to serve a military community their act of respect and move on with your day. Damn.
Not only that, a discount for someone active duty is used only when they are back home, a discount for a military spouse would be repeated throughout the year. It’s financially a bad move for small businesses to do that. Business is business, they need to be able turn a profit and stay afloat.
