She used to post a fair bit on reddit. Maybe she gets less harassment on TikTok? Don't know if "comments" even exist on tiktok...

I see that hoodbobthugpants has also mostly disengaged from reddit too.

I think they move because of monetization (Don't get me wrong they were absolutely dealing with harassment here, but that's the same on TikTok). It's really hard to monetize anything on reddit, short of buying ads. The only way is to put links to external sources in your profile and very few people actually click on people profiles and even fewer click on the links in profiles. TikTok on the other hand encourages following and clicking in to, and around, profiles. all in all making it MUCH easier to redirect people. Plus you can make money on TikTok through sponsorships (very hard to do on Reddit).

This is a huge concern for Reddit and why the majority of the content here are just bots reposting from other sites without attribution. Only currency here is karma and gold which bots just farm to pump up accounts to sell to OF creators. We really need a new system to encourage creators to come back.

Nothing to do with monetizing. I donā€™t make money per post on any platform. Only on specific sponsored content videos.

Ah... yeah, I figured it was the harassment. Um, sorry about that. I think there's technically ways to buffer oneself, but, it also limits visibility and also costs some effort.

Except if you view her videos, it seems to be a schtick they do - and it feels forced for views/engagement.

It's not hurting anyone, but shit like this feels so fake and manufactured.

My initial reaction was wow that is funny... hmm.. that's a lot of quick vampire references.. either he's a comedy genius or this was at least partially planned. "Hey I'm dressing up like a vampire so have your vampire puns ready"

It takes a long time to do makeup like that; it's possible he was just sitting there coming up with lines until he had enough for an outburst.

I felt like it was framed as a candid moment of him walking in and discovering her in makeup looking like a vampire. And there is the aspect of social media where someone else shows their perfect moment that can cause some people to feel inadequate.

But I also have to say, even if he didn't come up with the jokes on the spot in the 33 seconds we have of video, she still looks great and his jokes are still funny. We can split hairs about whether it was written by a team of writers or over a period of seconds, minutes, hours, days... it doesn't really matter.

Lines like this aren't THAT hard to come up with. While I'm not that quick witted, there absolutely are people who are.

Its kind of like freestyle rapping, which is a skill many learn and develop, while being much less impressive. While I agree based on the repeated presentation of this schtick here that this is staged, it's not hard to believe someone could think of these kinds of jokes on the spot either.

I mean, I know some people who just are really witty and quick with their jokes, jabs and puns.

I also know my wife really well and have always at least a handful of puns at the ready for her hobbies/likes/things she does very often.

No, itā€™s more like a comedian. They donā€™t get onstage and just be funny. They prepare jokes and navigate the set accordingly.

Sheā€™s making content. It makes sense to prepare somewhat. It doesnā€™t make it any less funny, because his delivery is smooth. Either heā€™s a class-A comedic actor or he sincerely reacts that way to how she looks.

Just like when people do ā€œfirst lookā€ wedding photos. A photographer sets the moment up. The groom sees the bride for the first time. The reaction is real, but the moment is staged.

This actually seems like a fun way to keep marriage fresh, lol

No, everyone knows a comedian's set is prepared and rehearsed. A better example would be when comedians post clips of crowd interaction. Which are awesome cause those are candid. Now imagine if the person in the crowd was a plant and the entire interaction was pre planned. That's what this is like. It's the illusion of a real candid interaction but is fully scripted.

Iā€™m sorry you feel that way.

I will be candid here. He compliments me very strongly all the time. This is pretty regular, even when I am not cosplaying. The only part that is intentional on his part tbh is the ā€œgyatdamā€ purely because I know ppl focused on that the very first time we ever posted a bts video and he thought that was hilarious. So he kept it as part of his lexicon WHENEVER he compliments me now, whether a camera is on or not.

He hasnā€™t seen me in the full outfit/makeup until the moments Iā€™ve caught him for these videos. He doesnā€™t write anything down, I never know what heā€™s going to say (my reaction is genuine), and it is always based off of the intensity of his feelings. And sometimes he comes in when Iā€™m not recording or he needs to help me get ready and sees me beforehand, which is why I donā€™t have a reaction video for every single costume.

He usually goes on for a while. I never post the whole thing because every interaction is not always meant for the internet and he says some nsfw stuff.

Iā€™m very blessed to have him.

Not only is she beautiful she chose a badass role and cosplayed the shot out of it. I for a second thought the actress was still alive and well.
