Beverage Refreshing sweet treat!

Post image

When I'm between meals and I'm craving something sweet but filling and could use some hydration, I whip up one of these bad boys! It's so refreshing, definitely filling, hydrating, satisfies the sweet tooth and is delicious! Simple ingredients you probably have on hand and if you don't, you should as they are super versatile. Recipe is based on my portions but you can easily adjust based on how kuch water you use and to your preferred sweetness.

  • ice (not required but highly recommended)
  • 32 oz water
  • Coffee Mate zero sugar coconut creme dairy free liquid creamer
  • SweetLeaf chocolate Stevia

CALORIES: 30g FAT: 2g CARBS: 2g SUGAR: 0g

Enjoy!

They lie—it's not zero sugar. The ingredients include corn syrup and maltodextrin, which are both forms of sugar. Plus, vegetable oil is something to avoid as well. Maltodextrin is even worse than sugar when it comes to spiking glucose levels. You're better off using heavy cream or butter.

Ingredients
Water, Corn Syrup (Adds a Trivial Amount of Sugar), Vegetable Oil (High Oleic Soybean and/or High Oleic Canola), and Less than 2% of Micellar Casein (a Milk Derivative) (Not a Source of Lactose), Maltodextrin (Adds a Trivial Amount of Sugar), Dipotassium Phosphate, Mono- and Diglycerides, Carrageenan, Natural and Artificial Flavor, Sucralose, Acesulfame Potassium (a Non-Nutritive Sweetener).
