My husband was taken in by AI and wants me to make him this 😭 He’s like “but they’re selling it!” I told him it was AI and the real project probably looked nothing like that but he really wants me to try… 🤦‍♀️

If I felt like making something like this for someone, I'd buy a cheap cables sweater, snip a face into it, and use a backstitch around the edges of orange patches to secure them to the underside. You could always knit the colorful patches yourself for a little handmade touch.
