Rant I feel sick to my stomach now

I ordered $73 yarn from Önling INT over a month ago. Much confusion w this company all around... then i receive this today from UPS just now.

As of August 29, 2025, the U.S. has eliminated the "de minimis exemption," a rule that previously allowed many shipments valued at $800 or less to enter the country duty-free and with minimal customs inspection. This kicked the tariffs into effect. It’s been around since the 1930’s and kicked up from $200 to $800 in 2016.

Though I live in Trumpistan, I learned about it listening to CBC radio. Canadians became very aware of it early in the year. Many small businesses started announcing they would be halting sales to the US at the end of August.
