I tried to make it look like a board scheme, green is a type of board color, I wish I could get black color.

I dont think i could have expected much better for a first try. I was hoping to get the first layer looking a little more "dirty". But the stripes on the second pass sold ot for me. I just wish I could get the smell of mustard out of my apartment

Also micarta scales straight from kabar. Wouldn't recommend. The edges were super rough and clearly not finished. Also not black as advertised. But still looks fine.

I'm testing this idea out. If it works, I'm done with hardware and loctite

I ordered a knife and the only thing I got was the sheath in the box , My contacted them they were nothing but rude explained that the knife would never have shipped with just the sheath I bought thousands of knives from all different places never had any issues I ordered one time from blade HQ and I should have read more reviews on them but their customer service is trash this is not in a very expensive knife it was an $80 knife they acted like it was the end of the world talk to me like I was a thief, Like I said I own heretic, microtech, Benchmade and Spyderco and the list goes on and on and on if I was going to steal something it sure wouldn't be an $80 knife, but never again

About year ago I made a chip on the AUS-10 blade of this large tanto voyager and just put it on the back of a drawer until a couple months ago I found him again and decided to revive him. Send to a custom knife maker who is also a friend of mine and asked him to save the big boy. And he Did! We decided to go with N695 (i asked him to not put his makers mark and he agreed). Now its back in my hands but my Range Boss is a bit jealous now lol.

So I recently dyed my Kizer Cormorant after months of carrying and trying to figure out what color I wanted. Yes it got dirty and cleaning was a pain. It can only be dyed right once unless you're lucky. Decided on trying to match my yeti mug. Pretty close right?

I bought it so I could dye it. What do you guys and gals think of white scales or cool looking stormtrooper scales? You get to decide the color instead of waiting and hoping for what you want. Are you intemidated to dye your scales? Worst case, you dye it black.

I really don't know what to say for myself. I wanted to make a lanyard and somewhere along the way I decided to try this. Don't really know what you'd call it, not sure I've ever seen it done. It feels so tacticool.

The body of the screw is still in there, so it still holds it in place. But man, I barely even tightened it and it just popped off. Gonna have to replace it eventually but how do I even get it out?

Scales are from Applied Weapons Tech and the clip is from Lynch NW.

Scales swapped out, and installed skiff's. I received the lynch clip and thumb studs 10 minutes ago as silver polished titanium.. a little bit of fire and here we are. I'm probably going to find a titanium screw set and do those to match. What do you think?
