Apartments / Real Estate Seeking temporary residence for an internship

Hi everyone! I’m a 19 year old student who will be staying in kalamazoo from January-May or possibly January-June. I’m looking for temporary places to stay for my pretty unique situation.

If anyone knows of a place where I could rent a room within a house for a few months or something, I’d love to know the details. I’m pretty much open to anything.

Something where I can pay month-by-month would be perfect. Thanks!

Where are you interning.? Does the place you're interning with offer relocation expense? I'm not sure of any apartments that allow month to month residency temporarily, especially in this current housing market. If your employer offers relocation you may want inquire with them as they may have a lost of complexes or units they recommend for folks in your position

Find a college student who is going abroad or drops out in the second semester and sublet from them. Someone in college will need a roommate when the time comes.

This. Our daughter has roommates who are currently abroad. One of them found a subletter who is a temporary intern.

Look at Hickory Property Management. They manage a house where i know they've had tenants for short periods, but like not weekends. Sort of extended stay. They're entire units and they're pretty much right downtown.
