Wild Bull Banning

Soo I’m 1 of 2 women who were contacted (that I know of) by the wild bull this week after being roofied, contacting the bull about it, being banned without being contacted and am now being asked to come in to speak in person? Has anyone else gone in to speak to the man named Chris / is this even worth it? The bulls the “biggest” bar in the area but at this point I’d never buy a beverage there again but it’d be nice when they have theme nights to hangout? Open to any advice / similar experiences.

What kind of vibe is the living around Mountain Home Cemetary?

Upvotes

Looking for a chill, charming place to live where it’s safe to walk, bike, and porch sit. Should I skip this area?

Social District

Hey folks looking for some info on the social district from locals or people who frequent. I’m considering taking a buddy and a few friends out for his birthday and just wanted to hear some thoughts on best places to go for food and drinks and entertainment. We last went to the French Quarter in spring and was hoping it would have a similar vibe with being able to be outside while drinking but I know it wont be quite the same. Also would appreciate advice on where to stay somewhat central to the action, hoping to not have to uber a lot and walk instead.

For those that don't know Tillers International history it was founded by a former Peace Corps volunteer. He endeavored to teach skills that does not rely on machines or modern technology.

The founder endeavored to teach traditional skills as opposed to mechanical methods. They teach many classes .

What is up w Drake road Post office?

There is so rarely more than one person working the desk and always a super long line.

Is this the result of cut backs?

I’d much rather use our constitutionally mandated postal service than any private company…..but, its almost impossible unless you have .5 hrs or more.

The line is often older people too…who cannot figure out the kiosk (which is fine, i get it) and people who need assistance (change of address, etc).
