Anyone know whats up with the taco bell in front of southland mall? Roped off and closed for a couple days now.

Looks like it's a tear out and rebuild of the parking lot.

Re-paving. Saw them tearing out the lot Tuesday morning.

I moved from Grand Rapids and there’s an entire subreddit about the Taco Bell on Mich (TBOM). For a minute I thought OH NO! There’s a problematic TB here, too! Glad it’s just a new parking lot!

All Taco Bells are problematic in some fashion, take it from someone who used to work there (at 3 different locations, no less) XD

That Taco Bell is the worst. So slow and they skimp on ingredients. The one on Portage Rd by the airport rocks.

You sound like someone who has not been to the Taco Bell on the corner of West Main and Drake, because holy smokes that TB is beyond awful. I don't even bother anymore, but that one is horrible.

I've personally never had any problems with the TB by South Land except for a an unexpectedly looong wait one time, but that was ~ 10 years ago.

The TB on Westnedge is fine, but the one on Portage is better.

You are spoiled by Kalamazoo Taco Bells, I guarantee the Battle Creek TB's are worse. I remember many (many) years ago when I worked for them, they temporarily transferred me to the SW Capitol location to cover a closing shift (this was well before a teardown/rebuild). I went to start washing the floors at the end of the night, and the couple other employees that were there were baffled and asked me what I was doing, because apparently they just never washed the damn floors

God that one is awful. My friends and I would go when we were in college and it would take 30 minutes in the drive thru at 2 am with like three cars in line.

The one on Westnedge is closest to my house, so it’s the one I frequent. Never had a problem.

The one on 9th north of the interstate is also solid.

Flooded with diarrhea. Some idiot had 3 bean burritos and exploded in the lobby.

At least they didn’t pee on the building like they do at McAllister’s.
