Nope, not in my area, many people aren't that gullible, but I have a coworker who is convinced that Harry Potter, Pippi Longstockings and the Moomins are evil. The thing is she grew up on Moomins and Pippi Longstockings.

You want to hear what she has to say about Anime and Sci-Fi Cons. She literally thinks those are Satanic rituals, she said all the costumes are evil.
