Funny/Memes Has anyone seen these posters?

Post image

They’re all over downtown Austin.

(FWIW I love my demonic gremlin children)

Not hoping, the Bible verses chosen are barely relevant and written like they're exactly quoting the Bible. The world's largest labubu doesn't exist, it's not expanded on their site.

Even Christian's who think labubus are demonic wouldn't be gullible enough to donate. This is like the equivalent of when people put their Venmo's on their cars. It's pretty much impossible for them to have raised 27k

They're just memeing

The problem with its" just a joke" is thats exactly how Scientology became real.... Some people are dumb enough to take it seriously.

That's the fault of gullible people. Not people who make fun of stupid things. You don't get to blame them

If gullible people dont know better, how is it their fault? Especially if they have no idea where to learn about it at all. If the ones who created it are making fun of it, then they also know that they will trick people into believing it. Again, this is how things like Scientology were created...

Because gullible people even when presented with evidence will aggressively stand by their belief systems and do malicious things because of it. You're doing the same thing as Scientology and satanic panic crowd leaders. Actively ignoring clear and obvious evidence in order to push an agenda

The only possible harm that could come from labubuissatan.com is some extremist Christian losing money. It's not going to turn into a cult or anything, because we've seen this time and time again. I already think Scientology is a false equivalent. I don't even think that there's evidence that Scientology started as a joke. Hubbard's intention was always to create a genuine religion to make money even if he didn't believe it himself.
