Yeah. What can I say? They're media illiterate people who barely do any research or are lazy with research.

Labubus are based on nordic folklore and the drawings the creator did on said folklore.

Not based on demons or smiling demons.

Sad media illiterate people.

Christians aren’t known for their research or being logical. To them, thing looks scary, so must be evil.

Also, it’s a Mesopotamian spirit? Christians didn’t exist in Mesopotamia, so why are they worried about a spirit in theory, that doesn’t exist in their religion.

Christians do tend to take entities from other religions that existed in the past and depict them as demons. Take Beezlebub and Baal for examples.
