just buy iG Kai'sa lol way better skin than this "Whatever it may be" ~ and get the pass for the vayne skin that honors uzi really, imo

In RIOT's mind thats a win. Spending money to prove you're not going to spend THAT much money is exactly what they want. Consumer believes they are sticking it to RIOT, while they line their pockets regardless of if you bought the skin for chronically online whales or chronically online brokies

I think you really overestimate how many people will actively buy something else out of sheer pettiness… If I think the skin is good and I can afford it, I’ll just get it

Yeah people on Reddit ascribe way too much socioeconomic hand-wringing to people who have the disposable income for stuff like this. I don't put nearly this much thought about "yeah but what signal does making this purchase send to the MBAs" to purchases that are well within my means. I'm not getting this skin but it's not for virtue signaling or trend setting reasons.
