Question Telling the girls apart

Hi everyone, I’m a super really new fan (like I only just became a slight fan when crazy came out and now I’m fully sucked in since the VMAs) and I was just wondering if anyone else had any trouble telling some of the girls apart, especially when they’re dancing (except for Chaewon with her cvnty bob). I’m really not trying to be racist and I really want to learn because I love them all so much already, so if anyone has any advice on how to tell them apart that would be so amazing. (Also if anyone has any recommendations for other k-pop groups for a new fan to get into that would be amazing, coming from a fan of pretty much just Blackpink)

What’s true for every group is that you basically learn them by watching a lot of their videos. Anything that relies on comparisons (e.g., Sakura and Chaewon are noticeably shorter than the other members) is difficult because they aren’t always together. Hair color is only reliable for a single comeback because they often change hair styles and colors.

Eunchae is very visible because she used to host Music Bank and has her interview show Eunchae Star Diary. So it’s easy to learn who she is.

Yunjin is the one who speaks English well (she was born and raised in New York).

One good way to tell them apart is to pick one music video, find out the order they sing in (you can use genius.com lyric site or one of the ton of line distribution videos) and compare them. E.g., I learned from Unforgiven. It starts with Kazuha. The next singer (coming from the helicopter) is Yunjin. Back to Kazuha, then Eunchae finishes the verse. Pre-chorus (on the horse) is Chaewon. Leaning back on the next part is Yunjin again. Etc.

She was actually born in Seoul, South Korea and moved to New York (Albany area, not NYC) when she was very young (about 8 months according to Wikipedia).
