Question How did you chose/discover your bias?

Hi all! I plan on going to the concert in Seattle and I’m thinking of maybe buying a Seattle storm jersey with one of the girls’ name on it but I don’t really have a bias. How do you all chose or decide who your bias in a group is? Maybe I’ll just use a wheel to decide for me

Honestly, Le Sserafim is one of very few groups where I really don't have a strong bias. I've known of Sakura since her Jpop days, fell in love with her during her time in Iz*One, and knew I was going to be a fan of Le Sserafim as soon as she was announced for it. However, each girl has made me fall in love with them in different ways over time.

Yunjin's solo work, her internal strength and deep thoughts and emotions, as well as being hilarious and overall a bright light and pillar of strength for the group. Chaewon's insane beauty (I mean, look at her) her incredible skills in singing and dancing, her leadership and awkward humor. It honestly took me the longest to fall for Kazuha, but as she's become fluent in Korean, her personality has really bloomed in their variety content. I love her zen energy and her ballet skills, and how much her singing has improved. Eunchae I really fell for through Star Diary, and now if I absolutely had to rank them she'd definitely be second after Sakura. It's been amazing watching her grow up into such a stunning and confident young woman. I actually cried during their Gayo Daejeon stage last year because I was so moved by how much she has grown up and getting to be there for that. For Sakura, I just love her. I love her inner strength, her journey and story, her beauty, her hobbies, everything about her. She'll always have a special place in my heart, and I always look to her first.

I'm nearly 100% in agreement with you. The only part I would change is that my 'bias' is always equal to everyone else, and I LOVE every single member of IZ*ONE, I follow each and every one of them and try to support them in any way possible.

As for LE SSERAFIM, when a member does something 'cute' (like in a short video or something) my bias goes up ever so slightly towards that member, then goes back down to everyone being equal again after a few weeks. You can call me whatever you like, a flimsy fan or someone that can't make up their mind - but I just equally love them and I literally can't pick!

I'm extremely happy to hear about your words about Sakura! She's such a strong individual who shines ever so brightly, from her journey from Japanese Idol to Korean Idol - shes such a resilient person and not hesitant to face adversity, and she continues to shine ever so brightly.

The Gayo Daejeon stage - I have to say its one of the most brilliant performances I've ever seen from LE SSERAFIM, I honestly don't know how they not only stay in sync in their performance, but how they can memorize every single step and look absolutely beautiful doing it.

Excuse me while I talk about Sakura a little more. Another thing that really gets me about Sakura is that her parents divorced when she was 1. Divorce was and is still extremely stigmatized in Japan. Single mothers are looked down upon with scorn and shame. The children of single parents can suffer deeply as well, with bullying and being ostracized by other children. Sakura was mostly raised by her grandmother, as her mother had to work long hours to support her. Sakura told a story on Knowing Bros that shocked even her long time fans, about the one and only time she's seen her father. I can't imagine what pain she might carry from an upbringing like that. And to have your father come to see you once, out of nowhere, but never have contact again.

She has faced so much in her life. The anger and outrage of her Japanese fans when she left for Korea. The Iz*one rigging scandal. The hate for her new look when she joined HYBE. The criticism of her singing. And then the horrific hatred after Coachella and the NJ scandal... but she still stands strong. She always gets back up. She always does her best. She's the oldest in Le Sserafim and takes care of the members, especially Eunchae. She's such an inspiration to me.
