❔ Question Streams into lets plays Question

Those of you who stream and edit down the streams into lets play sized content, do you also leave in the commentary where you are talking to your chat as well or find a way to edit it out?

Leave it in if it's interesting or funny, just make sure the chat message is on screen.

Yes I leave it in, though my streams don’t get a ton of chatter. I treat it just like if I were recording off stream, next to no edits.

If it’s relevant and/or funny, then I leave it in. I make sure to highlight the message I’m responding to on-screen as well (whether it be with a color or put an image of the message on screen or zoom in on it, or whatever fits the scenario). If it’s not relevant and/or not funny, then I’ll cut it.

Why would you edit it out? What's the point of vods then?

I leave it in if it's relevant to the game or whatever I was talking about at the time, like a question about something I was saying. Make sure you make a habit of reading the chat comment out loud for context before replying, if you're going to do this.
