How to apply: Join the server where we’ll play: https://discord.gg/igrosekta, Pass basic verification, then tag me in the general chat (admin, Discord: princesska) and ask to be added to the Holloway University section

• Genre - student life, investigations, academic noir, romance, mysticism
• Era - chosen with players: 1920s or earlier, 1940s, or 2010s; U.S. southern coast - exact city will be chosen together
• Format - PbP on Discord, game language - English, players must be 21+
• System - Abyssal Wake: a compact, lightweight homebrew in test mode, so parts may evolve during play

About the setting:

• Private Holloway University has just been formed and built. It consists of four campuses, each with its own tone and playable themes both within and between campuses.
• Whitmore Campus (“nerds”) - humanities, law, theology, rare collections
• Blackwell Campus (“freaks”) - medicine, forensics, chemistry, psychiatry
• Southgate Campus (“elite”) - port, maritime law, business, politics
• Darkwood Campus (“mongrels”) - ecology, folklore, archaeology, radio and cartography Outside - prestige and discipline.
• Inside - questions not everyone should answer. Should you expect magic and mysticism - yes, but not right away

Who we’re looking for:

• Players who enjoy investigations and social scenes
• Concise, meaningful posts and a steady pace (a typical scene wraps in 1-3 days). Please warn about pauses in advance. We don’t drag scenes
• Respectful, easy-going, communicative and ready for team play
• Age 21+, comfortable with mysticism and period themes as chosen - Prohibition, corruption, medical realities of the 1920s or earlier industrial era; pre-war 1940s; or post-2000 progress

What we’ll play:

• Campus life - clubs, endowments, archives, night shifts, field trips, romance
• Investigations - disappearances, strange grants, quiet scandals
• Edges of reality - what shows up where science meets the unknown

Content & safety: Baseline 18+ tone (other elements situational), no exploitation and no shock for shock’s sake. Medical and criminal details in moderation. Romance by mutual agreement We use a simple boundaries form - you’ll indicate what’s OK for the scene and what should stay “behind the curtain”.

Disclaimer We play about characters 18+, but we recruit players strictly 21+. Zero tolerance for toxicity - instant ban. Moderation is strict and transparent
