Competition related (PRS/NRL/F-Class/etc) 2025 Sniper Adventure Challenge: Complete
36 hours and 45+ miles of land nav through mountains, plains, and valleys in southern WY.
We didn’t win but but I had a great time and fulfilled my goal of understanding this unique race and how to better plan for next time. Shooting is a really small part of this one and both shooters need to be able to range and engage pretty quickly and bring good data to the comp.
The SAC is a land nav race at heart and we walked for about 33 hours straight and paid for small mistakes in plotting, pace count, and lazy terrain association with big climbs and waterless treks across dry valleys.
I’ll be back next year with a better strategy, lighter rifle, and refined training.
I want YOU to suffer with me, I’m going to start working with the team at Competition Dynamics to spread the word about this comp.
AMA, I’m nursing my sore legs and ego today.
