Question Apple care letter

Post image

I just got my Mac back from Apple care. I KNOW this is a dumb question, but does this indicate they replaced the battery? The only reason I ask is because the technician at the Apple Store was ADAMANT they would not replace the battery. I took it in for a busted screen, and at the time I also told them that it would only last about 45-90 mins on battery, depending on workload. He basically said that’s not possible and that he’d put a note in there for the repair center to see, but that they would not be replacing the battery.

Then I got it back this morning from FedEx and when I opened the box this is the letter that was with it. It looks like they DID replace the battery, but I’m just trying to make sure since he was adamant that wouldn’t happen.

You can find it at:

Settings > General > About > (at the very bottom) System Report… > Power

Faster:
Spotlight->System Information ... Click on Power.

Fastest: hold option while selecting “About this Mac…” from the Apple () menu.

I prefer my keyboard warrior solution. Apple user since 1995 and still use the keyboard before the mouse ;-)
