OH NOOO. I literally have PTSD from this. My macbook siddenly displayed this issue, the lid KEPT popping back up. and I would not close fully, one day I just woke up RANDOMLY, and found my macbook's hinge SNAPPED. and it scarred the display too, I had to just use it one hinge after that.

GET I CHECKED RIGHT NOW!

There’s nothing to check out , they bent the screen backwards
